Vivian, a junior at New Canaan High School, reached out to Carver Center just as they made the awful decision to cancel this year’s Spring Break College Tour — the first time in 50 years that chaperoned Carver students would not board their chartered bus at the Carver Community Center to embark upon a life-changing road trip to the schools they aspire to attend.
Whether asking questions, touring the campuses, or sharing meals with former Carver peers now excelling at these excellent schools, the goal has always been to motivate each visiting Carver student to envision their futures as a successful college student.
But Vivian offered to build a database of all the virtual tours she could find and now Carver students can use her newly created database to see 360-degree video college tours. “While this is a crazy time, I am hopeful for the future and looking forward to working with Carver,” Vivian said.
