Carver congratulates the Norwalk High School Bears girls basketball team on winning this year's FCIAC championship!
The Carver community rejoices with the Norwalk High School Bears girls basketball team and all of Norwalk over their victory yesterday evening. The Bears won its first FCIAC championship since 2001, beating Trinity Catholic High School Crusaders 32 to 29. The Bears did not allow Trinity to score in double digits in any quarter of the game. The Bears have an undefeated season of 23-0 to date, and that is generating a lot of excitement and praise.

Congressman Jim Himes is a longtime supporter of the Carver community. Today, he and members of his staff visited the Carver Community Center where they learned more about the breadth and success of the many Carver programs throughout Norwalk and now in Bridgeport.
